PopUp Challenge

Kathy over at the Daily Marker has a Pop Up Challenge going on and I decided to play along.....
this has to do with lines...she has some really nice videos on her blog explaining everything...here is what I made...
it reminds me of patchwork or stain glass... I used a fat sharpie to make my lines and distress makers to color them in.....when I was finished I added some of those eyelashes Kathy was talking about....after that I took a very wet paint brush and splattered water on top and laid a paper towel to soak up the drops after a few seconds...I love the effect it gives!

REMINDER … it’s all about lines. Any line of any kind. Just don’t stress and have some fun. Don’t forget if you post your photo with some popcorn  you have a chance at winning a goodie bag in addition to the daily prizes but, the popcorn is just for fun NO requirement

CAS(E) This Sketch No135

Evening my crafty friends... I just wanted to share a quick card I made using the new sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch #135....I belong to a couple card swapping groups and each month they have what they call an envelope challenge, there's a different host each month.....what it is is each host puts together an envelope with all the makings of a card ...the challenge is for us to make a card with whatever they send...the only rules are you have to use at least a piece of each thing the send and your allowed to add 1 stamped image or sentiment and three additional embellishments.....

I decided to use the contents of my envelope to make a card using this weeks sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch...so anyway here is my card LOL

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Orchard

The new Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge is up and I love the picture of the orchard...it reminds me of taking my children apple picking! So the first thing that comes to mind is apples but since I just made a bunch of ladybug cards I really wasn't in the mood for red apples....granny smith green flew through my mind but I decided against that to lol

here is what I came up with.....

I created my own little ladybug using my Silhouette, along with the scallop layers...I like this one so much better :)

I liked the little lady bug I created so much I had to make a couple different cards
