Tag challenge over at get creative....." So your challenge is to make a tag with lots of flowers they can be paper flowers or handmade or crocheted or on the pattern paper or stamped be as creative as you can!!" I'm not sure if I have a lot of flowers but there are a few LOL....

I used texture paste and a stencil for the roses along the side...shhhh and I used my daughters sewing machine while shes away at a con this weekend...it has all sorts of funky stitches....

The Adventure Begins

I have been thinking and thinking what i should do with the Create to Live Challenge over at My Sweet Earth....I didn't really have the right color papers...so I figured I would do something a bit different..I was able to find the last two colors in the background paper(Bo Bunny) but the rest I used paints,a little grunge love stamps(Unity Stamps) and had a blast while doing it LOL Here is what I came up with....yeah its a bit messy.....but it was oh so much fun!

 I did use the photo as inspiration....it made me think of spring...the adventure part was pretty easy since I don't have a green thumb...every year I try my had at a flower garden and every year I kill it..lol

 I used a quote that I thought was quite fitting.."It's spring fever.  That is what the name of it is.  And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!  ~Mark Twain"

 I did do some journaling on the back of my past adventures in gardening and my hope for this year!

At the park

I wanted to share my latest page with you...I used the sketch from Purple Pumpkin but I combined it with the criteria for chic tags Sunday challenge which was to use arrows....I received this paper in a RAK last week and I was kind of stumped what to do with it...but when I stumbled across the pictures of the kids at the park it just seemed perfect and I got to use some of my cute stamps to fill in the plank speech bubbles!

I am going to put this in the album I am making for their grandparents..they will get such a kick out of it!

1 with nature

First....Happy Mothers Day to all my scrappy friends......

Now I want to share a layout I did for once upon a sketch and Berry71blue...they've kind of teamed up this month...on both you you have to follow the sketch  but one you have to show a number (in the title or journaling) and the other you have to use chipboard(from any manufacturer!

Here is what I came up with.....

the title is 1 with nature- that's kind of self explanatory but I did journal about my love of the outdoors and animal watching...the journaling is on the tag under the picture...I also used the butterfly chippy piece and a couple birds...

Angels in disguise...

Did you ever start a page then all of a sudden get a different idea for something else? I had one of those moments this afternoon...I was looking thru all the new challenges for May ....found one I liked pick out a picture and papers and a couple bits and pieces to go with it....I was in the middle of cutting when it stuck me that I had a different picture I wanted to use...It was the perfect picture....but it didn't go with anything else LMAO
anyway the challenge was for about a girl and I had to start fresh because I really really wanted to use this picture....its the last time I ever had pictures taken of the both of them together (professionally anyway)...once you see the picture you will see why..LOL

Look at those faces...neither one would give a real smile...but I couldn't resist getting all the pictures because this was just them...I swear this is worse then any school picture I've ever seen..Okay now for where I am linking this....

 this big yellow flower actually came on a card from a scrappy friend but it came off after my cat tried to take off with the string attached to the card...LOL I like it too much not to use it!
