Hang in there!

so as you can see I am still loving the alcohol inked backgrounds this is another one I made in that batch, I mixed up my colors a bit I used a little ranger lemonade, sailboat blue  some splendor <---- this one is alcohol pearl so pretty then I switched to Brea Reese Kelley green and then some straight rubbing alcohol for more movement > inks, background die, and Heffy doodle stamps can be found at Scrapsalottamps.com <

I did a stamp and cut on my silhouette portrait (LOVE to do that when I remember to do it lol) I did a super quick coloring job they turned out so cute...
I used the same card layout I used last time but to me, it just has a different feel.

Happy Birthday

So as I said in my last post I received several things to play with from Scrapsalot and alcohol inks were one of them, I've always wanted to play with them but just couldn't get my hands on any...until now....and I have to say I love them and will be playing with them often!
for my project this week I combined the newly done alcohol inked background with this super cute stamp set from Lawn Fawn...

the set is called really high five and it's absolutely adorable! I added the Waffle Flower Sun Shine Panel Die

I really loved the bright colors in the background... every time I look at this card I just smile.

Make sure you stop by scrapsalot she carries a little bit of everything from scrapbooking, cardmaking a little bit of mixed-media!

Almost Fathers Day

So do you have your cards ready for Father's day? I've been working on mine...
I recently received some fun new things to play with from Scrapsalot  and these cute dies are just one of them

This panda is perfect for fathers day but with you can add hats, a tie may be some bows LOL I used the tie and collar, and of course, I had to add the coffee cup!

He's pretty simple to put together you cut a piece out of white and one out of black(you can use any colors you want, I wanted a black and white panda) and exchange the pieces you want like I took the ears, eyes, and part of the body of the black piece to add to my white one.

I used colored pencils to add the pink to his cheeks and ears tI chose paper from the Echo parks Gone Camping paper pad (Scrapsalot also has paper pads) haha perfect fishing papers I cut the accessories out of the scraps I had from that pad, I love how I was able to get the lure on the cup...and his background looks like striped wallpaper...

So what do you think? Cute?
