mix and match

So I was cleaning out one of my many drawers with teeny tiny stamps in it LOL most are random or little studio G ones I picked up because they were cute ..haha who doesn't love the dollar bins anyway I was trying to find some order I really hate that they are shoved in drawer with me out of sight is out of mind literally ... I didn't even realize I had these cute flower ones...haha you know I just had to play with them...these are actually 4 different sets but they had all the same kind of feel at least to I had to make a quick card  for the Simon Saya Stamps Wednesday challenge ...add something blue...
the sentiment is from a brand new stamp set from LDRSCreative from the Hippo Hooray set...Let's just say I never organized that drawer but I did find some cute stamps LOL

Layering stamps Hibiscus

I am so in love with this stamp set from Sunny Studio It's called Hawaiian Hibiscus and I got it from
they look so beautiful...I had to experiment and practice LOL lots of eyeglasses on and off trying to line things up but after a couple tries it was easy when you figured out what you were looking for!

So after quite a bit of practicing It was finally time to try and make a card...which meant masking so I could layer my flowers...
I wasn't sure about my leaf placement but they look pretty good on my final card, I started with the idea of one layer but the colors I used blended the flowers together and you really couldn't separate them so I stamped another one and fussy cut and popped it on some foam tape. I used this awesome sentiment from Altenew it's from their set called reason to smile...It's one of my favorite sentiment stamp sets! you can also pick that up at

thank you so much for stopping by!

Items used from

Sunny studio-Hawaiian Hibiscus
Altenew -Reason to smile

SSSMC Blues 2

Sorry here is another one for the Simon Says Stamps Monday challenge!

I love how this one turned out, there was a lot of distress inks used to create the background...kind of mushed it into my craft mat and got it wet then smushed my paper on it LOL very messy but fun I did dry in between layers so I didn't get mud! I used a shifter stencil for the panel with more distress ink, of course, my favorite colors salty ocean and peacock feathersI'm pretty sure everything except the rectangle stitched die is from Tim Holtz or/and ranger ...haha my goto products!

My island

Good morning my crafty friends wanted to share a cute card I made using some different Lawn Fawn sets I got from
I love that you can mix and mingle all sorts of lawn Fawn products for this card I think I used three or four different sets to make my scene...isn't it cute I created my very own island ...the background is an old texture plate...I used it as an embossing folder and my island is just a stitched circle die ...I cut out along one of the waves and inserted the circle...tada the island is there LOL
the Octopus is from the little set  octopi my heart  the palm trees are from Hammock and trees die set the shells and sand are from the on the beach set and the die cut is Lawn Fawns Hello die

Geez I probably could have put the unicorn here too but I was trying for the tropical island, not fantasy island LOL Well I hope you enjoyed my imagination and all things lawn fawn...make sure you stop by the Scrapsalot shop and check out some the awesome deals you can also use the code Buffy10 and get 10% off your order!

This months word inspiration at More than words was so easy...Happiness...the first thing I thought of was little V she brings our family so much happiness and she's the perfect subject for a layout! I was going to use a simple square frame in the middle but then I thought I really wanted a place that V's Mom could write some stuff .So I went through my Junkie draw, it's full of odds and end and embellishments..I spotted the card kit my secret sister gave me a couple months ago from stamping up...
Word Inspiration - HAPPINESS
Creative Challenge - SKETCH
IT has a pocket in the form with this cute tag great for a hidden message!
But then the card opens and there is plenty of room for some journaling!
