Bugaboo Bingo

I haven't had a whole lot of time to play along with the challenge over at Catch the bug challenge blog but I finally found some time! 😁

Its time for Bugaboo Bingo!!

I went with Gem, washi tape and bugaboo image....but I could also do Sentimen, sparkle and bugaboo image LOL I swear this Unicorn is one of my favorite Bugaboo images I own!
I decided to create my own background using a stencil (Honey bee stamps Radiant stencil) and some distress oxides (Tattered rose, dusty concord and mermaid lagoon) after I used one color I shifted the stencil slightly and used a different color...those supplies can be found at Scrapsalotllc.com ...I love how this turned out!

Also entering this in the Simon Says stamps Wednesday challenge -Anything goes!

Atcoins

Hello crafty friends, I had no intentions of posting today LOL but  I was up late last night crafting away...get some swaps ready for next month when I finished this cute ATcoin (you know an ATC just a circle LOL) and I had to share...Of course, this post will be for Scrapsalotllc.com because all the items used were from that store 😁

First, we started off with a 2.5-inch circle...I inked it using distress oxides I wanted a beachy scene since I knew I was going to use the on the beach stamp set from lawn fawn so I used (bottom to top) Gathered twigs, mermaid lagoon, tumbled glass and finally broken china...it gave it a nostalgia feel

I'm not sure about you but I always stamp off a couple images to color and then put the extra back in with the stamps....so these were already colored I just needed to add them to my coin...

I stamped the word relaxing and added a couple birds free hand (lol) and tada we are finished...I swear this was the fastest project ever ...now I just need to make 3 more for the swap set!

You can find Lawn Fawn stamps and distress ink at Scrapsalotllc.com she has everything for your paper crafting needs!

thanks for coming to take a peek!

Fall Latte

Good day my crafty friends...I wasn't too sure where I was going with this card, I just knew I wanted to make a card with Fal colors...see I was lucky enough to get a bunch of distress oxides recently from a really good friend and I wanted to play with all the new colors! Let me tell you it was easier to choose colors when it was limited LOL but I picked Mowed lawn, fossilized amber, carved pumpkin, fired brick I figured they would give me the perfect Fall color combo...

Most items used to make this card can be found at Scrapsalot
the starting idea was to heat emboss leaves onto my background, I hit a wall I ran out of versamark just not my day LOLI thought I would try it with white pigment ink 😢 for some reason my white didn't work but I did find a super old gold pigment ink and it worked alright but I changed my mind on the leaves by then LOL- this is how I craft and talk- all scattered everywhere LOL I saw this little pattern stamp that I thought would look cute instead
So I hand stamped the background it didn't need to be exact the four little symbols on the stamp seemed to line up pretty well, as I said I used gold pigment ink but I embossed it with bronze embossing powder, I did the same with the sentiment...you can't really tell in the photos but it came out really pretty and kind of rustic looking...here is where my card took another turn, I was thinking colored die-cut leaves but as I was looking for a paper to use in the background (haha yes for my background background) I found these awesome papers I received from Scrapsalot as part the design team  package and fell in love all over again LOL the colors are all fall...fall lead to latte which in turn lead to the cute stamp set from ink on 3 called Raccoon hugs....hey it could be pumpkin latte 🎃 haha

So if you stuck with me so far bless you! you have some patients! So as you can see from the photos we end up with a Raccoon with a pumpkin Latte and we love you! LOL ❤  as you can read this is me...I talk all at once and interrupt myself because if I don't say it when I think it I forget LOL  I tend to craft the same way...I'll be in the middle of making a card and all of a sudden I'll have this awesome idea so now I have to try that...haha its a wonder I get any of them done!

Anything is possible...

with enough coffee! I truly believe this LOL I am definitely a coffee addict....heck I don't even talk until I've had 2 cups!
here is another project for Scrapsalot they have all sorts of products for all your paper crafting needs! Make sure you stop by and if you order use the code Buffy10 for 10% off your order!

I kind of made my sentiment the focal point on my card because it kind of says it all LOL I love this stamp sentiment from Honey Bee-shake it off stamp set it has all sorts of coffee-related sentiments

I used the awesome Tim Holtz stencil splatters for my coffee rings and some distress inks... I used waffle flower enamel dots and changed the color with alcohol markers ...So we have a kraft card base, a vintage book page (awesome find from our local restore habitat for humanity!!) put my white card front layer on then I die cut a piece of DCWV corrugated paper using a spellbinders card creator die for my final layer...
yeah yeah, maybe one of these days I'll get the hang of describing houtI put my cards together...I'm guessing today isn't that day! I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and make sure you check out the Scrapsalot shop!

Here is my card for inspiration, I used my silhouette portrait to create the horseshoe silhouette I used this awesome paper pack from MME called Pretty things it was great for that soft country feel ...I used lawn fawns, Hello border die...it's so funny when I made it I thought it looked pretty good but now that I'm typing this out I think I should have done something different LOL

or better yet put a big sentiment on the inside...geez why do you think of these things after LOL

Septembers challenge is based off this photo below
