Good evening my scrappy friends, I thought I would share my latest layout...since I haven't been feeling very well lately this layout took me two days to finish lol I had this idea in my head but I just couldn't get what I wanted on the paper..finally it was to my liking..I decided to combine two challenges,the one from
Once Upon a sketch with the journaling criteria of " lesson learned" and then the challenge over at
ARTastic extra criteria use of diamonds/triangles.....
I like to keep my journaling personal so I will give you the edited version of the journaling.......there is hidden journaling behind the picture,I decided to journal about my daughter learning to believe in herself and her craft..she knows its okay to be different and she doesn't have to follow the norm...this past year she has taken up commission work on her sewing..she stuck to her gun and her style and this year paid off! haha now she has three costumes (3 different people) due in three months all for the same Convention.
I was inspired by the eyes of the artwork...that's why I chose this picture of my daughter and of course all the diamonds!
