Less is more Challenge 268

If you had asked me to look out my window last week my card probably would have been full of spring flowers......but that's not to be....as I look out my windows the last couple of days all I see is ice and snow :(  we have had about 3 weeks of beautiful warm weather,I've had my windows open and everything! yesterday I was so disappointed that I had to drag my sweater out because I was cold! Anyway for this weeks challenge over at Less is more its a recipe challenge to show us What's outside your window.... Well when I look out my window I see bare trees and tiny snow flakes...that's what inspired my card!

Alda's Challenge-Flying Unicorn

I Love Alda's card/tag challenges...they always make me think...and since I still have such a hard time layering these tend to help me think...most times the first project I never like LOL but by the time I get to the third one I am more comfortable...if that makes any sense at all...anyway here is the hcallenge and what I made for it all three entries!


In this month's tag and card challenge - Love has to win again for a chance to win this month's RAK ... so are you ready to begin .....

There are things tied with Love and on your card/tag you must incorporate them ALL - yes all 14 of them :)

- The word LOVE
- The word KISSES
- Of course hearts
- Ribbon/Trim
-Roses - and there has to be at least a dozen
- Pearls
- Some Bling
- Something Silver OR Something Gold
- A bow
- A banner/pendant
- A scroll
- An angel/cherub
-at least 4 different sheet of paper
-glitter

here are the three cards I made for this challenge....... they are in the order I made them...and they weren't made on the same day LOL for Alda's challenge it always takes me awhile LOL

Good day my crafty friends, I just wanted to share a beautiful card I finished up just a few minutes ago.... I used the new sketch from Cardabilities # 113 and the criteria for the 12 days of Christmas challenge happening over at the Flying Unicorn forum.

this is what I used from the 12 days of Christmas
1 bird -red fussy cut birdy
2 poinsettias -quite obvious
3 stickers (chipboard, epoxy, etc.) -I used enamel dots
4 pieces of trim (ribbon, lace, pearls, etc.) -a bit of lace,embroidered ribbon,lacy thing with the balls (lol) then a stringy fringe thread like thingy tied in a bow under the flowers
8 shapes (shapes can be the same – ex., 8 squares) - I used Squares
11 pearls (strand of pearls, adhesive pearls, etc.)-a whole lot of pearls
