Charming

My goal this morning was to tackle the sketch from C'est Magnifique Kits... its such a beautiful sketch...so I pulled out a bunch of mixed-n-matched supplies from Basic grey,7Gypsies,Kaisercraft and ScrapFx plus miscellaneous paints, gesso, and ink,embellishments....Oh can't for get the stamps and a pretty picture (one of my all time favorites) of my youngest when she was just a baby.

Anyway here is what I came up with....

Sleeping Baby Boy

I thought I would try the sketch from my creative sketches...it's such a pretty sketch. I used some left over papers from Bo Bunny. I used an adorable picture of my sleeping great nephew,he's such a cutie pie!

Amazing

Good evening scrappers....as soon as I saw the inspiration picture from Pixels and Paper I started digging through my pictures and I was so disappointed that I couldn't find the one I was thinking of...the one of my aunts and uncles all dressed up for Easter it looked so much like the inspiration photoaccept a couple boys thrown in LOL...anyway I did manage to find one of my oldest (haha shes 21 now) daughter with the Easter bunny,I kind of miss having little ones around..the Easter egg hunt,the baskets oh and having them all dressed up! I used the sketch from Scrap Africa to create my layout!

I figured I would try to use up my pastel Prima stuff that's just been laying around and the sketch from Blue fern Studios was just perfect!

I used a picture of my best friends furbaby Louis isn't he just too cute all dressed for Easter! ..

That day changed everything

I saw the new challenge over at Once upon a sketch last night with the journaling prompt "An event that changed my life..." my thoughts went flying, I could have done the easy way, my children’s births or maybe the day I met the love of my life or better yet the day we got married. All of those things brought huge changes in my life and they are all happy memories but I’ve learned that we also have to scrap the bad ones too so this page is all about therapy!
The event I picked changed the lives all our family and friends…

It took one phone call to altered my world…and things will never be the same again.

I used one of the last picture’s that were ever taken of my 13 year old daughter Stephanie before she past away, I did a whole lot of journaling …you can find some of it behind the picture…My journaling is about the phone call and my panic I still have every time the phone rings, also about being away when it happened (she was with her dad while we were away), about the accident its self… on the back of the layout attached the rest of the journaling and a letter to my Stephanie.
to be honest I think I spent more time on the journaling then I did the layout..but I think it was very therapeutic....

 I wanted to thank all the ladies at OUAS because you make me really think about the journaling!

a walk in the park

Good morning scrappers, I thought I would share my latest layout with you....I used the sketch from Blue Fern Studios and of course a couple pieces of their chipboard (Nifty tags and tickets)

the picture was taken Lake Clara Meer in Atlanta Ga. its simply gorgeous spring has sprung there that's for sure!

 I covered the chippy pieces with gesso and washi tape

You took my heart

I thought I would try something a bit different for the challenge over at Pixels and paper...I've never done a digital layout before so I thought I would give it a shot..I didn't use anything special other then my photoshop program....and a special photo of my new great Nephew Ethan, isn't he a cutie! I was inspired by the rainbow in the picture so I used the colors for the butterflies
