Archi-scraps August challenge

It's the start of another challenge at Archiscraps and I wanted to share my layout I made as part of the design team

this month's theme is SPIRALS
Make any paper based craft entry to qualify.
This can be card, layout, tag, OTP item etc. So long as it has a spiral somewhere.

It's been awhile since I've played with a sketch....I really liked this one from CAS(E) this Sketch! I went with something pretty simple but cute!

July Challenge

I am so honored to be apart of the design Team over at Archi-Scraps ....

here is my first project...

here is the inspiration photo.....they also want you to use either gesso or texture paste to create a stucco effect (think rough sides of buildings.) It doesn't have to be on the whole card or layout, a featured area will do

Last DT reveal for Lets Get Sketchy

 My last DT Reveal for Lets Get Sketchy- I have been so Honored to be apart of such a wonderful team and Brenshevia has been the best! When I first joined this team I was still fairly new to all things crafty and grieving (to tell the truth you never really stop) the loss of my youngest daughter, Its hard to put into words what being apart of this team has meant for me....it helped me fill a void/ find a purpose...kept me company on nights I couldn't sleep...I got to explore and learn so many crafty techniques...made many new friends...oh and I got to ogle so many talented scapbookers out there....(I learned that just because my layout looked different didn't mean it was just as pretty as the next hahah that took a long time) I learned to use my imagination and it was ok to just be me! So I just wanted to thank Brenshevia  and all the members of the Team past and present...you've made this so much fun for me and taught me so much! 💗

for my last sketch I decided to use photo's of my best friend even though she is over 1200 miles away our friendship is still as strong as ever....this is some of the silliness she sends me....haha yes she has me on snapchat LOL

Good day my crafty friends,we have another fabulous sketch over at Lets Get Sketchy for you to play with! here is my take...I used some funny photos of my little Nova she was being silly because I had  food she wanted me to share LOL
I used some washi tape and a stencil to make my stripes......
