I am in awe..

I have known these boys forever and not once have they ever been quiet or gotten along...maybe its a boy thing or just a brother thing....so to see them all getting along and playing a board game while being quiet....now that's a day I want to remember..lol....and I bet their mother does too

I did this lo for Creative Craft world using their sketch and an also linking up with Frosted designs for their chevron challenge

Little paint a little ink.....just a splash of color with the chevron paper in the back..I tried to keep it boyish since they consider themselves manly men LOL and its for their moms (my bestest friend :D) album

Sleepy

Good day.....So as some of you already know I received a wonderful present about a week ago and there were so many wonderful papers..hehe there was this set which I used today that I really liked because it kind of reminded me of when the kids were small and they would make those drawing, you know the ones I'm talking about....I always had them on my refrigerator(I think I still have some packed away some where)...well they are really bold colors ....so I kind of worked backwards since I had the papers now I needed a picture LOL Not as easy as I thought it would be! But I found one of my favorite Pug Wicked she's just too cute...I had my picture,papers and a sketch from A2Z Scraplets  and here is what I came up with....

as you can see freehand swirls are not my thing! lol but it works with the page so its all good!

 I kind of had a field day with the glitter.....Love the smile face it was a gift from my oldest Sam...

B-day Boy

I went just a bit over board .....its really busy LOL These pictures are of my best friends son Keagan on his 12th birthday they ordered him a Justin Bieber cake as a joke....

I used the sketch from lets get sketchy...week three challenge!

 as you can see I got a bit happy with the paint......

I had to use the new smile face my daughter bought me...I love them! I can't believe he's already 12....now I really feel old

Waiting

I love this picture of Wicked the pug....she was Waiting for it to be dinner time,staring at them until one of them got up to feed her..lol

I made a huge tag to hold the pictures....doesn't she look so pathetic like they would forget to feed her LOL

I am not really big on Banners at least not the pennant ones so I was messing around with the itty bitty flower punch and I was going to just cut one petal and attach it to the string,when I did that I didn't like it but thought oh if I cut another one it might look like a butterfly ( Love those lol) well instead I cut too much and guess what it looked like a Bone! ha just the thing I needed! ta da! I thought it looked cute!

Christmas Village

Nothing like seeing teenage boys trying to make gingerbread houses...LOL I did this page for my best friends album since it was her boys that made this lovely village,I'm sure she will use it to torment them later on down the road! haha I have plenty of pictures for that!

Wicked Sleepy

I love this little dog.....her name is actually Wicked...I think we used to say it a lot just before she got her so I guess it was easy to remember! the first time she brought her to my house she was wearing this cute little dress with cross bones and a skull on it...she was just too cute.....Now shes just too chubby to wear those dresses..lol
I used the new sketch # 243 from Creative Scrappers.....yes its been a very boring Sunday so I've been busy scrapping!

here's the sketch......

 I couldn't find any beads small enough to look good with the flowers I made so I used the liquid pearls hehe I think it looks better then beads....even though I messed up one pretty bad....

I layered the banners and scrunched them just a bit...they look really cool in real life..lol

Family

My best friend finally went and had a family portrait done...she really hates to be in pictures but loves her camera LOL you guys have seen plenty of her pictures in my scrapping....well since this is a big moment I wanted her to have it forever so I made a simple page for her album with her favorite color GREEN....I really kept it simple though but love how it came out.
I used a sketch from Creative Scrappers......

I really thought I had used this one ...maybe I did and just didn't post it LOL just a bit scatter brained lately!

 I did a wee bit of fussy cutting......added a few gems.....

made some dainty flowers...I didn't want anything too big.....

Fur Babies

Its just so sad...she dresses her fur babies up with sweaters....lol here is another lo for my girl friend Ginny's album I used a sketch from Skissedilla....love their sketches.

the colors are brighter then I normally use.......here is the sketch I used.....

I used the Tulle my daughter gave me and painted over it.....Love the design it made.

Football

like I said the previous post my girlfriend Ginny has three boys, Keagan happens to be the youngest and I met her when he was just a couple weeks old so I've known him his whole life...he actually calls me HIS Buffy lol
all three are into many things so I'm sure I will scrap a whole lot more sports and fishing things...I have to say out of hte last three layouts this is my favorite of course I used a sketch from Boys Rule (I'd really like to get my hands on their January kit...it looks awesome!) maybe I could hint to my fiance......hehe.

 has anyone noticed I can NOT cut a straight line LOL everything is always lopsided but thats okay I know she will love it anyway!

Guess he was really tired....lol

anyway like I said this is my favorite out of the last three....I'm not sure if its just the picture or the way the whole thing just came together.

Father and son

these next couple of posts are layouts for my best friends album....she has three amazing boys....three dogs which if you follow my blog you've seen two of them...I'm sure more will follow....and the most amazing Husband anyone can ask for...and he is the best dad I've ever seen!(even though he really didn't have to be) he does everything with these kids....haha and she s a cradle robber...don't tell her I said that LOL he must have asked her a hundred times to marry him but she always said NO for some reason or another then finally he asked and she said if we can get married on Halloween (and other stipulation) then I'll marry you....I laughed so hard cause she really thought she had him....But lets just say He won...lol
Anyway I did this lo using a sketch from Boys rule actually the next three posts are all for their sketches LOL

Inspire me

Hi there......So Challenge me happy has their first Challenge of the new year up or the last of last years lol.
its a RECIPE challenge.
These are the ingredients we want you to use on your project:
* a quote
*stamping
* bird/s
*arrows
* brads
so I went on a hunt to find a picture to help inspire a page/lo.....Of course I always end up at Ginny's(my best friend) flowers ...they are just so gorgeous and since we have so much snow I wanted something that reminded me of spring/summer. I found her roses....love these....she got them as a birthday gift last year and this is the first time they bloomed! So I made her a page to go in her album.

 I have to apologies my cameras batteries are low so my pictures kind of suck. I have all the elements....the quote " the friend is the person who knows all about you, and still likes you" Elbert Hubbard,Stamping I used a cute little stamp that says Delight in little things, Bird ...those are kind of obvious

Arrows...I stamped those too...and Brads I used two for the inspire title and then I used a best friends brad. I really need to learn how to cut out a circle they never come out right LOL
