Oh Christmas Tree...

Normally I love the holidays but this year we decided to pass on all the decorations and such...It was just too much since I have tons of handmade ornaments that both girls have made...I couldn't bare to look at them even Sam thought this was a good idea...until I started looking through the many many blogs I follow. It seems with each passing day we get more into the spirit, we have made several cards for friends and families..a couple ornaments that we just hung up with out a tree...and now I saw these cute little trees someone made(mind you I was doing an image search and stumbled across these) and decided to try...Over at Frosted designs they are doing the twelve days of Christmas so far I've done them all except two one is the 6thday which you had to use 6 washi tapes well I don't own any washi tapes and have no way to get any orhter then order online and that's just not an option at the moment, I looked at Micheals the last time I was there but didn't see any at the time and that's over an hour away *sad face* so I had to skip that one...as far as I can tell you can leave out two of the 12....the second one I hadn't done yet was the 10th day which you had to use 10 buttons *big smile* stole some from Sams stash lol  I waited because Sam said she wanted to help but I guess I'm not very patient lol I made this while she was sleeping....easy peasy.....

A cute little Christmas tree! Don't laugh it was the only green paper I could find at the time. I think I will let Sam make two more and I can put them in my window shelf....

this was great because it was all stuff just laying around the house.there are 10 buttons(12 actually because they had to be even) there are 8 green and 4 red I just wrapped an old spool with cute music paper that you see in the background and I have a bag of skewers that have been in my kitchen junk drawer for ever....see told you it was easy! Go check out all of the other days over at Frosted Designs!

thanks for taking a peek!
