My Happy Place

Hmmm where is your happy place? This month at Once Upon A  Sketch the journaling is about your Happy Place...I didn't even have to think about it....it was a close toss up between family dinners( which we don't have anymore lol everyone has other places to be) or the lake....the lake won...It truly funny that no matter where we have live there was a lake and it was always my favorite place to be...okay that's kind of a fib...when I lived in Connecticut I loved the ocean but everywhere else its been a lake and here is no exception...I used a picture from my favorite spot at Devils lake, we caught the sun setting...I could take a book and sit there for hours....

I did a lot of journaling some is showing but the rest is tucked away....

thanks for coming to take a peek!

  2. Being near water is soothing for me too and necessary for my wellbeing. I don't mind any kind of water, lake, river, sea... but I can totally relate to your journalling. That photo is amazing with the reflection of the sun in the water :D Love your take on the sketch too. Thank you for playing along with us at OUAS this month.
