CAS(E) this Sketch #183

 Using the new sketch from Cas(e) this sketch I created this super cute card! I am so happy with how this card turned out! I used some blue painters tape,cut into strips and added to my stamping block then used some distress markers on top of the tape to create the background.....Love this effect! I went through my very small stamp stash (I have mostly sentiments) and when I couldn't find anything I wanted to use I went searching the internet ......I can upon tons of cute clipart pieces....I really thought this one worked well so I turned it into a print and cut file with my silhouette portrait and finally I used a sentiment from Bo Bunny

When I saw the new sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch I knew just what I wanted to do...haha that's a change for me! I just got this dream catcher cut file from Paper issues its a free file (they have quite a few)...I thought it would be perfect for this sketch..I had to rework the size for it to fit a card. I used lindys stamp gang mists to add a bit of color...
I really like how it turned out!

LESSology Challenge #60: Mug Shot

LESSology Challenge......It took me some time to figure out what I wanted to make for this challenge, I finally decided on a mug gift box since I needed a lil thank you gift anyway LOL I used a cereal box as my base for the mug...of course its filled with kisses!

Cards in Envy Summer

New challenge over at Cards in Envy theme is summer, of course the first thing I thought of was the wonderful sunshine so that's what I made my card about....I created the sunburst/starburst on my silhouette along with the sunglasses, I coated the lens part with some glitter mod podge so they sparkle...I also added a couple Gems

TMMCC sparkle

When I saw the sparkle theme over at The Mixed media card challenge the first thing I thought of was fairy's then I thought of all my spray mists because most of them sparkle so I figured I would combine the two...here is what I came up with!

items used to make this card watercolor paper,Lindy's stamp gang starburst mists(lucky shamrock green,sweet violet purple teal and Hydrangia blue) Versamark,Holographic embossing powder,TCWS stencil(mini tile texture), distress ink (evergreen bough) random small star/snowflake stamp, Fairy mushroom die cut (cut on my silhouette) small star and circle gems

yes yes that means a new sketch from Lets Get Sketch...here is my take on the new sketch! I used some really old papers (couldn't tell you from who or where they were gifted to me when I first started scrap booking) lots of fussy cutting (for embellishments)

I will admit it,I had a really hard time with this sketch (CAS(E) this Sketch)
....I can't even tell you why LOL I looked at the sketch and it was like my mind was just blank...O kept the sketch on my desk just in case inspiration struck....two days I just stared at it!
