Lost my Mojo
Evening my scrappy friends....I've been staring at this months sketches and I just can't seem to find my mojo LOL so I trolled a few sites and ended up on Beyond the grey challenges and inspiration struck! Their new challenge Textured Tag...I went for bright and cheerful :) I used texture paste and a simple stencil, lots of mist and a couple different stamps
I basically used what was already on my desk...left of over die cut some butterflies...haha even the stamps I used just happen to still be on my desk...I think I need to clean my desk LOL
I was trying to find a good angle so you could see the texture...I don't have any small stencils so most look a little off on smaller projects...this one just happened to fit pretty well!
Thank you so much for coming to take a peek at my found Mojo! LOL

Travel Adventures
Good evening scrappers I just wanted to share a layout I did for the challenge over at Scrap Africa - Challenge no.33 - Travel Adventures. I decided to use my favorite picture from our last trip to Maine...we had stopped at a rest area ( haha there were many...its a really long drive 23 hours) and they had this cute little carved bear holding a welcome sign, if it had been just a bit smaller I would have hijacked it! LOL
I mixed and matched my papers, a couple different paper lines lets see there was Best creations Inc,Tim Holtz studio calico and pickle press (lol no clue where that one came from)... I was a little miffed because this layout took me way to long.... and I blame that on my daughter LOL she went away for the weekend and took the heat gun with her!! I think I will just have to break down and buy my own LOL
There is journaling on the back of this layout about the finer points of our road trip from Wisconsin to Maine!
I thought I would mention that I am very thrilled with my homemade flowers hehe I love how flowers look on layouts but I never have any :( so I try really hard to make pretty ones!
One more thing to share.....for the challenge over at Beyond Grey- BGC#57 - Watercolors
I made a card and used water color pencils to color the flowers.
thank you so much for stopping by, I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend!

Repurposed Iced Tea container
Afternoon my scrappy friends...I wanted to share my latest project, the idea started from the new June challenges up over at the Flying Unicorn forum Lainie has an awesome challenge called "What your purpose?" This challenge is all about finding some item in
your house that you would normally toss into the garbage and to
redesign it's original purpose into something that is useful for
you or that you could gift to someone else. This idea fit perfect with the new challenges up at A2Z Scraplets (off the page challenge) and Beyond Grey challenges (Stamping and Misting) So I decided to combine all three...
you see we are big Crystal light fans so I always have these little containers....
I've used them to store markers, pencils and flowers...but I never thought to decorate them LOL
the piece of chipboard is from A2Z Scraplets...it was the perfect size to use on this project!
Criteria for the challenge at Beyond Grey:
I did my stamping on the fabric leaves and on the brown ribbon on the bottom and you can see my misting/paint drippings and now my shape scissors have a pretty new home!
Thanks for coming to take a peek!

Criteria for the challenge at Beyond Grey:
- You must have visible Misting on the face of your project - Any kind of misting will do for example - Using mists like Lindy's stamp gang or color bloom by prima etc, Making a splatter with a paint brush , Using a tooth brush with water colors to create a nice misting on your project.
- Your project must show Stamping on Fabric ! Its time to pick and experiment with any type of fabric and see how your stamps work on them. !

Thank you
Good morning scrappers, today I would like to share a mixed media card I made...I saw this really awesome technique yesterday and I thought I would give it a shot...I took the criteria from the Beyond the grey's Bingo challenge and the new Swat (scrap warriors advanced training) drill may flowers you must make your own flowers
The process is super simple too – just lay down a stencil, cover it with a thick coating of white paint, and mist!
I used some homemade enamel dots,a pretty white butterfly, quite a few dylusions ink mists and of course I cut the sentiment with my silhouette misted it then heat embossed it...all the flowers are handmade!
