Peek a Boo

Good afternoon all..or well some lol I wanted to share  page with all of you and of course the subject of the page is another Fur-baby this one is Oreo and we took this picture just days after she arrived at her new home with us. Stephanie begged for a new kitten even though we already had a full grown cat (Cutie) who we got when Sam was three years old and a full grown pit bull/collie (Zena) who had very been around a cat until we had moved in with ours LOL that was fun....so we kept putting her off Until one of the moms at steph's school said the she new of a place that had kittens,I knew I was done for! Not even a week later Oreo came into our lives, this cute little black ball of fur with no tail (its the breed) poor steph thought her tail got cut off or something lol The best part is they all got along and she was/is a perfect fit for our crazy little family!
In this picture we caught her hiding in the pillows playing peek a boo with the other cat!

Here is January'15th sketch

the dark flowers were made of scraps from one of Sam's sewing projects,it was so soft and fuzzy I just couldn't throw it away so I glued it to card stock and cut out the shapes(next time I will use the same color instead of white LOL ) I tried other flowers with this material but it frayed and fell apart way to easy..its like a velvet fabric so it was just easier to glue it down.

 I made the cute little tickets that describe Oreo

 this cute little dangle Sam brought home to me the other day...I love them

I also used a bit of gesso and the cut out pieces waste not want not!
