something bright

Just wanted to share a couple projects... One is a layout I did for the challenge over at Scrap Friends...their sketch was all kinds of awesome and it was great to get a bit messy...

 I managed to get a couple projects done today....since I didn't really do much this weekend..I  just had a lazy weekend!

Good evening scrapper....I just wanted to share a couple cards I made for a couple swaps I'm in...

The first one I made using a sketch from Pamela's world of scrap she has some really awesome sketches ....

these two I made with my Silhouette,I used the sketch pen feature...it just started out as playing around but I really love how they came out!

and this last one I just love.....

Yeah I really need to get a couple different sentiments LOL

Fly Free and other projects

Good evening lovely scrappy people..I have a couple things I want to share and figured I would just put it all in one post LOL ...First is a layout I did for Keeping the best..they have a fabulous sketch that went live on the 11th....if your on my FB you've probably seen the pictures of the butterfly that was trapped on my porch...gosh it was so pretty...I scooped him up and set him free...but took pictures before he flew away...I decided to use those for this sketch...

 I mirrored the sketch......

my next layout I used a sketch from Pamela's World of Scraps......I make this page for my daughter album since technically its her cat lol

 now my last thing to share....Over on the Flying Unicorn forum they have a challenge called Sweet....You can create any type of candy holder you so desire BUT the rule is you can not alter a box or a dish or a glass ... the holder must be made using 100% paper

So Lucky

Evening all you happy scrappers, I just wanted to share my latest page I made using the sketch from Once upon a Sketch... the Dt's there have out done themselves.... just so many beautiful layouts...the Journaling Theme: "Lucky" the first thing I thought of when I read the journaling theme was I am so lucky to have an older brother so that was the topic I went with...he is very dear to me and has been my best friend since I was born..there are only two year separating us so we have always been close,he never complained when I would tag along with him and his friends,he taught me how to sneak out,how to fight...geez he was a trouble maker...haha he even married my best Childhood friend, our first children are only two weeks apart...I had the 2 girls and he had 2 boys...even though we don't live in the same state anymore we are still very close and talk all the time!

 I played a lot with texture paste and some mists...

 I'm not sure if you can see it in the pictures but I also used this shimmer spritz so its kind of shiny too...the hearts are made out of duct tape and I sanded theme just a bit and listed them too and it gave such a cool effect

my journaling is hidden behind the pictures.....

I have one more thing to share...its a card I made the other night but forgot to post, I used the sketch from Pamela's world of scrap ...I turned the layout sketch into a card sketch

My Sisters

I was going thru a box of stuff from our old house it was just stuff from the office,I found a stack of older pictures and I was a bit shocked to find this picture...its from way way back.I'm pretty sure it was from when we lived in Montana and I was only 13 when I left  so that was a long time ago LOL its really funny because I have more pictures of them as adults then when we were children...Oh I forgot to mention they are my sisters LOL
anyway I used a sketch from Pamela's world of scrap and the picture was faded so it went really well with the papers I decided to use!

A fresh start

Hi All I just wanted to share a layout I did with my new flowers....I actually thought we killed them off but it looks like they got a fresh start LOL no matter what I do to these rose pushes they come back last year he accidentally butchered them with a weed whacker.....anyway I used a sketch from Pamela's world of scrap and I am also linking up with Frosted designs for their Polka dots challenge...

 this is Kitty my youngest daughters very first stuffed animal....he now resides in my room!

Good day........its another bright and sunny day here....I spent the morning out in the yard with the pup trying to get rid of the weeds around the shed,seems like an endless task at least Nova (my black lab) had fun thinking I was throwing things just for her LOL...

I wanted to share two projects I finished last night but never got around to posting....the first is a layout I did used the newest sketch from Skissedilla I was kind of excited for this since I've never used water colors and wanted to try it out with this sketch....this is what I came up with!

 I am pretty happy with how it came out!

 the second project is just a cute little card I made with a card sketch from Pamela's world of scrap
