I really love these stamps (A little grunge love by Unity stamps).....still not what I pictured but I still like it!

At the park

I wanted to share my latest page with you...I used the sketch from Purple Pumpkin but I combined it with the criteria for chic tags Sunday challenge which was to use arrows....I received this paper in a RAK last week and I was kind of stumped what to do with it...but when I stumbled across the pictures of the kids at the park it just seemed perfect and I got to use some of my cute stamps to fill in the plank speech bubbles!

I am going to put this in the album I am making for their grandparents..they will get such a kick out of it!

Here is the sketch
 chipboard is from A2Z scraplets

playing catch up

I did this layout today.......I used a couple different mists and tried to blend them...not sure that worked out so well...the layout its self was a scrap lift from the flying unicorn forums.....I am linking up with Chic tags  for their sunday challenge of misting and lasting memories you had to use 1 photo....and  Archi-scraps for their picture inspiration of Autumn....I tried to pull the colors from the picture but I also added purple flowers...LOl sorry I really liked them...but I did add leaves and there are also leaves in the scraps of papers used to build the background (with the small fairy's)  I tried to match the colors with the rub-on...and of course the brick is for the archway.....

thanks for coming to take a look....

Lovin life,living the dream

So I was digging through my bin of pictures and stumbled upon a small box of  Polaroids...haha real ones..  we used that a lot when my oldest was born so I have a small stack of them...the one I'm using today happens to be my favorite,Samantha was such a loving baby always wanted hugs....or was just happy to sit and snuggle! Oh my goodness I so miss her being small 20 years just flew by! okay now that I feel really old lets get to the layout....I used the sketch from Scrap Our Stash (I turned it and only used one picture ..I even used more then 6 buttons)....I also used the colors from Chic Tags Sunday challenge ( I tried really hard to stick to the colors LOL easier said then done!)

I love the tiny buttons in the flower centers...they are just so cute,I didn't even realize I had them til I started digging in my stash..I guess its gotten a little bigger...lol

My Daughter

I have to laugh because when I was done with this layout I showed my daughter at first she laughed because she thought it was her sister...until she took a closer look at the picture then she was all you can't use that one haha

anyway this is my oldest so this picture is from about 19 years ago! I used the sketch from Chic tags for their Sunday challenge! I am also linking up with Paper Issues....

This makes me smile!

I figured since its snowing yet again that I wanted to scrap something from summer time...makes sense right?Digging through my stack of pictures I came across one of my Stephanie and my girl friends youngest Keagen oh my gosh they are little in this picture....we spent so many days at the lake...those defiantly made for some great memories! I used a sketch from Scrap friends so I'm linking up with them...also with Chic tags and Paper Haus Magazine

I used pastels because they remind me of spring and summer....I had all these bits and pieces in my stash...

thanks for coming to take a peek.......have a wonderful day!

Where is your home?

Over at Scrapping Everyday Miracles the main challenge is to scrap where you feel most at home or what you consider home. I thought about this a whole lot and there is only one answer for me....See I've lived all over the place some example...I was born in Connecticut but was raised mostly in Montana ( lived lots of places in between I swear my mother was a gypsie  ....I went back to Ct when I was about 13 ( most of my family lives there..aunts uncles cousins and Grandmas) I decided to venture out on my own at the age of 16...lol young and stupid I guess but I never regretted it! Went from Ct to Virgina...Virginia to Massachusetts, I think at the time Mass was the longest I had ever lived anywhere in my whole life...it was good had a wonderful third floor apartment ( moved in 9 month pregnant with my oldest daughter Sam ) Had a wonderful job/career (worked there for ten years and to this day still miss that place) anyway I am getting off track here...the whole point is no matter where I was in the world my family was always home weather it be when I went to visit my grandmother for thanksgiving or when I had my wonderful children it was always home! it never mattered if we were in an apartment or a friends house...all that mattered was we were together...that's what makes it home to me!
I scrapped my two girls because they are and will always be my home even if Stephanie isn't with us anymore shes still in my heart and I feel her with us everyday!

scrap twist was to use a journal tag or block to write detail- mine is a hand made hidden tag the blueish green hexagon on the top right pulls out I wrote on both sides.

I used the sketch from lets get sketchy

I also decided to add this to the chic tags challenge....(challenge you to use 7 products or less. Card stock, adhesive and thread do not count.) I used Authentique - Dictation stickers, Thickers - letters, Echo Park- Everyday Eclectic lg hexagon paper, Studio G layers flowers-used two and took them a part and used the pieces, Liquid Perals-flower centers

I cut individual hex's out and layered a couple to give just a bit of dimension then took apart the flowers and used each piece separately
I have never used thickers before...I'm not crazy about the color but I love how they look!
