Puppy Love

I love my Fur babies just as much as my human children so I tend to scrap them just as much....I used pictures of my lad Nova while she was playing in the yard.....I happen to catch this awesome picture of her and it looks like shes smiling at me! I am so happy I was able to combine all four challenges...that's a hard one some times!

the Scrappy Friends March challenge....4 in one...lol

Brenda - Keep Calm and...( I used Keep calm and play on)
Rochelle Spears ~ Color Combo ( used all five colors)
Kerys Sharrock ~ Sketch  (I really followed the sketch since I liked it so much!)
Kristi B ~ Masking/Stencil  ( this was a bit harder but I used a stencil, its from X-acto but I used it with makers lol hope that still counts)

Here is what my page looks like:

I am so happy I was able to use the doggy embellishments my daughter got me!

Oct. Morning

Well this page didn't turn out quite the way I pictured it in my head.....I seem to do that a whole lot! But I don't hate it.....but I'm also not sure if I really like it either LOL

anyway I used the colors and sketch from The paper Mixing Bowl ( used lace, stamping and gold glitter as utensils)and also used the challenge from Scrap Africa (you need to use 3 different colored card stock only no patterned paper)

Heartbreaker

I thought I'd share another layout for today....this is another one of my Daughter Samantha...geesh her grandmother used to love to dress her up,she was always in cute little outfits and such and the bows in her hair were always a must have! I really can't blame her since she had two boys.....

I used a sketch from Skissedilla and I loved it so much I kind of kept real close to the sketch! I am also linking up with Berry71blue for their you color my world challenge...

a summer I want to remember

Sometimes I really like using sketches that I can use multiple pictures...I had this bunch but couldn't really use them one at a time since they were all taken from afar...that's what happens when your at an amusement park LOL I really wanted to document this trip since it was the first time she ever went on any of the adult rides and actually enjoyed herself! She was always so afraid to get on any of these even the log flume...btw I love the picture of her looking like a drown rat (bottom picture)!

I used the sketch from sketches with a twist (the twist is to use washi tape) and the color palette from the color room, this is the first time really using a main piece of chipboard.....I got it in the mail yesterday and remembered the challenge over at sketching with a twist and thought it was the perfect piece!

Say Cheese

I have decided that today is going to be a good day! I figure if I keep saying it I will believe it! so i have a pretty page I'd like to share with everyone,I really kept it simple.....I think its because the paper its self is a bit busy for me but it seemed to have all the colors I needed for the challenge over at S.W.A.T and I decided to use the sketch from lets get sketchy to bring it all together :) this one also falls in to the same challenge category for Lasting Memories they wanted you to use green

this picture is twenty years old,My Samantha was such a cutie and always had so much hair!See what I mean about the papers, they have all the colors I needed :D they all came from the same little book my SIL sent me at Christmas time

thanks so much for coming to take a peek,I really love  to hear what you think...it kind of makes my day!

BTW Belinda I received the chipboard today that I won over on your blog....Oh My Goodness I love it all and each one seems to fit...thank you so very much for having the contest...I can't wait to use them!

This makes me smile!

I figured since its snowing yet again that I wanted to scrap something from summer time...makes sense right?Digging through my stack of pictures I came across one of my Stephanie and my girl friends youngest Keagen oh my gosh they are little in this picture....we spent so many days at the lake...those defiantly made for some great memories! I used a sketch from Scrap friends so I'm linking up with them...also with Chic tags and Paper Haus Magazine

I used pastels because they remind me of spring and summer....I had all these bits and pieces in my stash...

thanks for coming to take a peek.......have a wonderful day!

By the Way Happy Birthday Laurie!

Here is what I came up with.....for Laurie's blog click here

cutest little thing!

So its Wednesday and I am so bored out of my mind....I decided to surf through all the blogs I belong too and try to find something I wanted to try and make...you know searching for inspiration or just something different....Guess what I found.....the cutest little gift bag! :D I was over at Heartstring Designs and I saw the post from Midge about the gift bag she made....and I thought why not give it a try...
they are also having a challenge over there......

So...for this challenge, you need to make/decorate a gift sack.  (I used the adorable little gift giver from the kit, but you do Not have to.)  The gift sack must have, 1) a chevron pattern anywhere on it, 2) color spray or mist--easy peasy!!!

I even had a chance to use the little delight tag I got from them :D

thanks for coming to take a peek!
