September Challenge at Berry71blue is all about things you love....I thought about what I wanted to do for this challenge and had plenty of ideas...like a scrappy page with pictures of thing I love,but I love way yo many for that to work properly so I thought I would just do a journal page with a list of things I love...I notice I love lots of things LOL and more then what I listed on this page...just to name a few

My Husband,my children,my furbabies.....those are on the page...not on this page are all things Fair tale, like unicorns :)

Evening my scrappy friends, I just wanted to share a layout I just finished... I decided to play along with the August challenge over at Berry71blue..they have a very nice sketch to work with..its pretty basic sketch with so many possibilities!

Girly Mini Album

I’ve been working hard on this little album, it’s about 5x5 well the inside pages are 5x5 LOL…I was watching video’s on youtube the other day and came across this lady that was making an album (well she called hers an art journal) anyway she made it out of all recycled items…so I thought what the heck I’ll give it a shot! The cover and inside pages are made from recycled cereal bar box’s (my favorite so there were plenty to choose from LOL) Let me tell you this little album is sturdy! I wanted to make it kind of girly hence the color and I also used some of my handmade flowers on the cover the pattern papers are from a DCWV stack my daughter had gotten me its once upon a time theme so there are plenty of embossed pieces, not sure you can see them in the pictures  …there is plenty of room for pictures and places for tags/journaling…I left a lot open so it can be customized since I really wasn’t she who to give it to yet or if I wanted to keep it myself...I thought I would also enter this is the Berry71blue challenge for their handmade flower challenge...the flowers on the cover are made by me!

Timeless

I had this wonderful inspiration picture from Archi-Scraps I've been trying to come up with an idea.....it wasn't so easy......I loved all the intricate details in the door... so I kind of went with the obvious..I replicated the doorway and used it as the frame for my photo...I also used the sketch from Berry71Blue and this is how everything turned out!

 I got this Flourish Transom from the Silhouette shop...I used it to make a doorway

Small Homemade Canvas -sort of-

Sorry I know I just posted but I just realized I never posted on my blog my homemade canvas I made for the Flying unicorn's Art Journal/ Mixed Media Challenge and the Berry71blue Get Creative With Textiles....I don't know where my head is at lol anyway I made this last Thursday but forgot to post it....

so I've had these cute little photo frames(measure about 3x4 ) just sitting on my desk for ever and never knew what I wanted to do with them...and I had these pieces of canvas,that where cut into triangles ( I guess you could call it that lol) I had gotten in a prize pack quite awhile back and just didn't know what to make with them either...

so I took bother.....I attached the canvas tot the frame....then took some sewing pattered paper that my daughter always has around .....tore it up then bunched it up in places when I added it to the canvas ....it left creases and ridges...then I just messed around with some paint and stamping and this is what I ended up with...

Evening lovely scrappers...I wanted to share a layout I did for the flying unicorn sketch challenge I am also entering into the Berry71blue Get Creative With Textiles challenge..

 I'm not sure how creative I was with textiles but I did use some lol

I love the little canvas piece with the stamp on it....

Good day y'all...

this is so sad to admit but I woke up at about 3 am this morning,I have no clue what woke me....but while I was up I had this inspiration and I tackled the sketch from C'est Magnifique kits and I decided to link up with Beryy71blue for their anything goes challenge
then I went back to bed LOL
Anyway here is what I came up with....

 a little bit of silhouette cutting,some texture paste and stencils,some pretty papers and lace...I love the papers from Websters

It's my peaceful world in the summer

Good day lovely bloggers.....Its a bright and sunny day here,which is always good for my mood! I can't believe we are already on the third day of June,time just seems to be flying by...I can't even tell you how fast May seemed to fly! As you know a new month means all new challenges...there are some really awesome ones this month...but three stuck my fancy last night and inspired me with all things summer.....
Scrap around the world - has a mood board and sketch - the inspiration I took from the mood board is from the first two pictures....it wasn't so much the cameras it was the background...I wanted to do something from the outside.
Berry71blue - asked "what do you like to do in the summer?" and bright colors- I love to spend time at the lake,I swear I live there most of the summer...its just so peaceful and not so crowded.
Scrap for help- they want you to use wood/twigs....
all these challenges just blended so well together.....so last night I pulled out a bunch of supplies,just trying to figure out what I was going to do....then I slept on it LOL
and now here is what I came up with......

1 with nature

First....Happy Mothers Day to all my scrappy friends......

Now I want to share a layout I did for once upon a sketch and Berry71blue...they've kind of teamed up this month...on both you you have to follow the sketch  but one you have to show a number (in the title or journaling) and the other you have to use chipboard(from any manufacturer!

Here is what I came up with.....

the title is 1 with nature- that's kind of self explanatory but I did journal about my love of the outdoors and animal watching...the journaling is on the tag under the picture...I also used the butterfly chippy piece and a couple birds...

Special Gift

For those of you who read my blog you know my Daughter is very talented,she loves to sew and can make just about anything you can think of.....that being said...she asked me to make a layout a very special layout for her dear friend for her birthday and she wanted me to use a picture from their latest convention AMKE
they were Snow White and her Handsome Prince....My daughter Sam handmade both costumes...
So I put some thought into it and of course used a wonderful sketch from Scrap Africa (I flipped the sketch to the left) I am also linking up with Beryy71blue for their April flower challenge!

see I just turned it

 the lace around the picture is actually scraps left from snow whites dress, I just used some chalk ink to change the tint to it.

 Love these flowers...I've been saving them for months...they are the first thing I've ever won (got them from my first blog hop) so I kind of horded them LOL but this was special enough to use them..

then I added it to a shadow box frame and we added a little bird on top.

Heartbreaker

I thought I'd share another layout for today....this is another one of my Daughter Samantha...geesh her grandmother used to love to dress her up,she was always in cute little outfits and such and the bows in her hair were always a must have! I really can't blame her since she had two boys.....

I used a sketch from Skissedilla and I loved it so much I kind of kept real close to the sketch! I am also linking up with Berry71blue for their you color my world challenge...
