Mushroom in my heart

This was a super quick card to put together since I stamped a but if the images all in one shot and used my scan and cut on my silhouette portrait (I have to remember to color before I cut LOL some of the images are really tiny on their own)Most of the products used on this card came from Scrapsalot its an awesome little craft shop based in Fl. she does crops and expos but also takes online orders... It's an awesome little shop! I created the background using a stencil and some ink oxides (which I love) the mushrooms were colored with colored pencils and I used some Gamsol to blend...I probably could have added some clear Nuvo drops but I really liked how it looks so I left them off LOL

Items used from scrapsalotllc.com
~Inks~
~Distress oxide- faded jeans-cracked pistachio-fossilized amber
 Stamps and die~
Lawn Fawn-
Mushroom house dies
Oh Gnome
~Stencils~
Honey Bee- chevron arrows

thank you so much for coming by...

CCCB Week 306

I was super excited to see the new challenge over at City Crafters Challenge Blog....its all about Super heroes! they want to see  one or more of the following on your project.
(1) Super Hero
(2) Comic Strips
(3) the word SUPER
I went with the Superhero because of my daughters influence LOL She loves Iron Man So when I found a free goodie bag printable awhile back I ended up saving it knowing I would use it eventually....I used my Silhouette portrait to turn it into a Print and cut file...I think all in all it came out cute!

retrosketches #208

I don't normally make square cards (I think I've made two LOL ) I tend to stick with the standard 4.25x5.5 but when I saw the new sketch I thought I'd give it shot! Now I was a bit concerned about using 4 different patterns on my card but I think they all go well together, using the colors tan, blue and white might have helped that along...

here is my take on the new sketch over at  Retro sketches

Scrap Africa Mood Board no.71

here is my take on the new challenger over at Scrap Africa....they have an awesome mood board with some bright orange and blue and the cutest little robot....as you can tell those are the things that caught my eye....I thought those things would make a cute boy card...so that's just what I did...
I just had to create a robot using my silhouette Portrait and make it into a paper piecing of sorts....I think its kind of cute...

Muse Challenge No126

I decided to play along with the Muse Challenge again this week.....I just loved how Tracey did the stenciling in the background....I couldn't find a stencil I wanted to use so I used some snow flake stamps that didn't have a whole lot of ink on them....I really like how this one turned out!

Here's this week's Muse: Tracey McNeely
isn't it the cutest thing!
