Anything is possible...

with enough coffee! I truly believe this LOL I am definitely a coffee addict....heck I don't even talk until I've had 2 cups!
here is another project for Scrapsalot they have all sorts of products for all your paper crafting needs! Make sure you stop by and if you order use the code Buffy10 for 10% off your order!

I kind of made my sentiment the focal point on my card because it kind of says it all LOL I love this stamp sentiment from Honey Bee-shake it off stamp set it has all sorts of coffee-related sentiments

I used the awesome Tim Holtz stencil splatters for my coffee rings and some distress inks... I used waffle flower enamel dots and changed the color with alcohol markers ...So we have a kraft card base, a vintage book page (awesome find from our local restore habitat for humanity!!) put my white card front layer on then I die cut a piece of DCWV corrugated paper using a spellbinders card creator die for my final layer...
yeah yeah, maybe one of these days I'll get the hang of describing houtI put my cards together...I'm guessing today isn't that day! I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and make sure you check out the Scrapsalot shop!

September challenge!

Time for a new challenge over at Archiscraps this month's criteria is to use a horse on your project! Here is my card for inspiration, I used my silhouette portrait to create the horseshoe silhouette I used this awesome paper pack from MME called Pretty things it was great for that soft country feel ...I used lawn fawns, Hello border die...it's so funny when I made it I thought it looked pretty good but now that I'm typing this out I think I should have done something different LOL

or better yet put a big sentiment on the inside...geez why do you think of these things after LOL

Septembers challenge is based off this photo below

Make sure you stop by the Archiscraps blog and join in the fun!!

Perk you up!

Good afternoon my crafty friends.... It's time to share my some coffee LOL

Both the sentiment and background stamps can be found at Scrapsalotllc.com use the code Buffy10 to get 10% off your order!!

Now on to my project... I used this awesome background stamp from The Ink roads  it has all different coffee's and coffee saying on it...like "death before decaf" my personal favorite LOL  I stamped on plain white cardstock with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder!
I wanted to make sure it was covered well so It would resist the distress ink I was going to add...
I used distress inks (antique linen and vintage photo )to blend my background. I love using distress inks, there is no right or wrong it's all about what you like and I just happened to like this look so I stopped LOL I created the travel coffee on my Sihouette portrait... It's amazing what you can create with some simple shapes and the welding tool! the coffee cozy was just lined up and cut by hand then used a small heart die to cut the shape ...
Now for the awesome sentiment, I used Archival inks (Jet black and potting soil) and a fabulous stamp set from Honey bee stamps called shake it off...lots and lots of coffee related sentiments with some mix and match...yes yes there is tea related too LOL
Don't forget to use the code Buffy10 for 10% off your order!!

mix and match

So I was cleaning out one of my many drawers with teeny tiny stamps in it LOL most are random or little studio G ones I picked up because they were cute ..haha who doesn't love the dollar bins anyway I was trying to find some order I really hate that they are shoved in drawer with me out of sight is out of mind literally ... I didn't even realize I had these cute flower ones...haha you know I just had to play with them...these are actually 4 different sets but they had all the same kind of feel at least to me..so I had to make a quick card  for the Simon Saya Stamps Wednesday challenge ...add something blue...
the sentiment is from a brand new stamp set from LDRSCreative from the Hippo Hooray set...Let's just say I never organized that drawer but I did find some cute stamps LOL

thanks for stopping by! Have a fabulous weekend!

Layering stamps Hibiscus

I am so in love with this stamp set from Sunny Studio It's called Hawaiian Hibiscus and I got it from Scrapsalotllc.com
they look so beautiful...I had to experiment and practice LOL lots of eyeglasses on and off trying to line things up but after a couple tries it was easy when you figured out what you were looking for!

So after quite a bit of practicing It was finally time to try and make a card...which meant masking so I could layer my flowers...
I wasn't sure about my leaf placement but they look pretty good on my final card, I started with the idea of one layer but the colors I used blended the flowers together and you really couldn't separate them so I stamped another one and fussy cut and popped it on some foam tape. I used this awesome sentiment from Altenew it's from their set called reason to smile...It's one of my favorite sentiment stamp sets! you can also pick that up at Scrapsalotllc.com

thank you so much for stopping by!

SSSMC Blues 2

Sorry here is another one for the Simon Says Stamps Monday challenge!

I love how this one turned out, there was a lot of distress inks used to create the background...kind of mushed it into my craft mat and got it wet then smushed my paper on it LOL very messy but fun I did dry in between layers so I didn't get mud! I used a shifter stencil for the panel with more distress ink, of course, my favorite colors salty ocean and peacock feathersI'm pretty sure everything except the rectangle stitched die is from Tim Holtz or/and ranger ...haha my goto products!

thanks for coming by...
