Hi to all my crafty friends Hope everyones having a wonderful weekend! I was just trying to wash away my rainy day blue so I went into craft mode LOL it always seems to make me feel better!
I just want to share a card I made using the sketch from Cardabilities # 121...the colors alone were enough to bring a smile to my face!

Just wanted to share my latest card...I used the new sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch # 120 it was perfect...my daughter asked me to make a card for a Co worker who's having a baby something clean and simple!

Scrap Africa No.49

The challenge this month over at Scrap Africa is to use a pencil on your project!

It took me awhile to figure out what I was going to make....I decided on a card (as you can see LOL ) I have a Silhouette portrait and some sketch pens :( but since it said pencil I rigged my machine ( well the pencil to fit the machine) so I could do a sketch in pencil...normally I just use the sketch feature to write out journaling cards because my hand writing kind of sucks :) but I really like how this turned out...yeah yeah its kind of a basic card but it was my first try LOL I swear the next one will be better!

My take on Aprils sketch from Blue Fern Studios : I used a couple pieces of their chipboard -Nifty tags and tickets...Gesso and stamped them...

Hi Ya everyone...I hope you had a wonderful weekend...mine was too short and it stormed the whole time....but that wasn't so  bad I got some stuff done in the house then some crafting :) which is always a good thing!

C'est Magnifique aprils challenge

Due to being sick last month I missed the last challenge over at C'est Magnifique but I am feeling much better now.....and I really loved this months sketch...here is my take....
this picture was taken 23 years ago...its of me and my brother with out first children they were born two weeks apart and my nephew was born on my birthday :) of course we had to get pictures with our grandma and great grandmother!

sketchabilities No.136

Happy Hump Day....I feel like its been forever since I've worked on a layout LOL now we all know that's not true but with the cold I had everything is a bit foggy! I saw the new sketch from sketchabilities #136 and just had to play!
 I combined sketchabilities sketch challenge with the challenge over on the Flying Unicorn forum All about the Bling...criteria for their challenge is 1. layers of patterned paper 2. chalk or inked edges 3. flowers
4. machine stitching or stamped stitching 5. bling (X3)

 for the bling I used half back pearls, lindy's stamp gang starburst mist,glitter on the larger flowers and Glitterazzi swirls.... I also used faux stitching because my daughter has the sewing machine!
