Wow, time is just flying by Welcome June!
Its time for the new challenge over at Archiscraps -your challenge this month is to use book paper or library pockets or both. for inspiration, I've made a pretty card using a library pocket with a checkout card ...I thought it was cute!

Belated Birthday Gnomes
Good day my crafty friends, today I wanted to share a project I made featuring supplies from Scrapsalot shop...
I used Lawn fawns Oh Gnome stamp set, I kind of did a stamp and cut using my silhouette portrait..reminder to self color the tiny images before you cut them..anyway I did a bunch of lil gnomes and mushrooms so I would have plenty on hand at a later date... I colored them using Prismacolor pencil and a lil gamsol then set aside to assemble some mushroom houses they come together pretty quick, I went with the standard red and brown but I've seen them pink and purple so you can use your imagination.
I decided to keep my sky simple and just used some faded jean ink oxide..the grass and fence were cut using my silhouette the flowers and grass papers are from DCWV.
Now isn't this just the cutest thing ever...its a mushroom house shaped card, yeah yeah it's little but just so cute! I folded a piece of cream cardstock in half and used the background mushroom die to cut the base I just kept the top of the die above the fold line so when I was done I had a fold at the top...I then cut two more bases in brown one I placed on the back of the card and the other on the front and decorated accordingly...haha I kept this one for myself!
so I kind of rambled on in this post and if you're still here I'm sorry but I really wanted to share some of the processes and as you can read I write as I speak all over the place LOL

Bugaboo Bingo
I would say Happy Monday....but I don't think those exist LOL ... I thought I'd share the card I came up with using the bingo board from catch the bug
we went straight across the top row Sparkle, stitching, sentiment.....them we went on an angle sparkle, 2 images merged and embossing...
let's start with the sparkle and sentiment since they are one in the same LOL I used a Happy Birthday Die from Impressions obsessions, I cute the bottom layer with glitter paper for my sparkle... the two merged images are from Bigaboo stamps, Charlies birthday and candle cake, I thought they went well together I picked out my very bright pattern papers then colored my image to match using colored pencils..my stitching is kind of obvious on th square diecut ...I also used one of my favorite embossing folders, I just love the diamond design!
thanks for stopping by...Hope you have a fabulous week!

Who's feeling Crabby?
I am so ready for the beach..well the lake will have to do LOL that's where the inspiration for my latest card for Scrapsalot came from...I decided to create a beach scene I wanted it to look like the little crab was walking down the beach...to be honest, it came out a lot better than I thought it was going to LOL I used a piece of computer paper as a mask...just cutting a squiggly line I made the sand darker towards the water and I tried to as some details with a white gel pen to the water. I colored the crab using colored pencils and some gamsol.

SSS 710
Happy Mother's Day!!! I'm very lucky I get to play most of the day but kind of sad that none of the kids are around! anyway...Stella Says Sketch Challenge #710 here is my take on the new sketch challenge over at Catch The Bug, I used the adorable digi stamps BUGUNIBEYOU from Bugaboo Stamps
I'm kind of a thrifty crafter most of the items I buy personally have to have a multi-function...I have a limited budget and space for all my craftiness LOL...So this card is a mix and match of all different companies...the digi is from Bugaboo stamps...the paper is DCVW...the butterfly die is lawn fawn and
the sentiment is from an Altenew stamp set called Reason to smile, I really like this set!
Thanks for stopping by....hope you had an awesome day!

Teacher Appreciation
May Theme challenge over at catch the bug is Teacher Appreciation, this may sound horrible but when my oldest was still in school I sent a lot of thank you cards and notes LOL just kidding she was a good kid, but I did send thank you cards ... so that's what I decided to make. I used a digi stamp from Bugaboo stamps and colored it with Prismacolor pencils

Mushroom in my heart
This was a super quick card to put together since I stamped a but if the images all in one shot and used my scan and cut on my silhouette portrait (I have to remember to color before I cut LOL some of the images are really tiny on their own)Most of the products used on this card came from Scrapsalot its an awesome little craft shop based in Fl. she does crops and expos but also takes online orders... It's an awesome little shop! I created the background using a stencil and some ink oxides (which I love) the mushrooms were colored with colored pencils and I used some Gamsol to blend...I probably could have added some clear Nuvo drops but I really liked how it looks so I left them off LOL

Oh Gnome!
Hello, my crafty friends... can you believe it's already May! I received some really awesome goodies to play with from Scrapsalot and I couldn't wait to get crafting! So I thought I would share this cute little card I made using Lawn fawns Oh Gnome set...it was easy to make a small scene, I used a couple of the small dies from the mushroom house set I had to piece together the grassy area it might be time to invest in a grass die cut set LOL ...this kind of reminds me of may flowers...I have tulips popping up all over my yard.
The gnome set can be used in many different ways. I'll be showing a couple different ways throughout the month.
You can find the inks and stamps used on this card at Scrapsalotllc.com or click on the photo to go right there! :)
